Pangkor Laut Resort (Pangkor Island)

Declared a paradise by the late Pavarotti and previously voted ‘Number One in the World’ by Condé Nast Traveller; Pangkor Laut blends seamlessly into the forest, walls curve around foliage, and roofs open up to allow trees to continue on their journey. Located on its own little island outside of Lumut, the resort is not only home to one of the world’s premier resorts, but it also houses a variety of wildlife such as long-tailed macaques, white-bellied sea eagles, large monitor lizards, some caymans and even oriental pied hornbills perching in the branches above. Nature is respected here, almost revered as you will notice, and it rewards visitors in ways that simply need to be experienced.
