Bijan (Malay)

Located in the heart of bustling KL and just a stone’s throw away from the busy streets of Changkat Bukit Bintang, Bijan is an oasis where you can unwind with a cool glass of wine while the food remains deliciously and unmistakably Malay. Deep Purple walls and dark unpolished wood create a serene environment and contrasts against the contemporary look of raw unpolished concrete. Foldable glass doors lead onto the terrace for al-fresco dining. There is also a private dining space that is screened by sliding batik panels.

Our menu features a vast selection of Malay dishes from everyday favorites to the lesser-known secrets of the Malay kitchen. We also have a comprehensive list of wines which have been chosen specially to pair with Malay food. Bijan’s Signature Dishes are a must-try as these dishes were created from inspiration drawn by the owner’s travels and the people whom they have met along the way.

Its convenient location in the middle of the city makes Bijan the ultimate destination for fine Malay cuisines. Over the years, Bijan has won numerous awards and have been featured on culinary and lifestyle TV shows both locally and internationally. They clearly set the precedent for Malay cuisines, with a range of delightful canapes, wine-pairing menus and the reinterpretation of some fabulous classic dishes.

Buffet dinners, weddings, corporate dinners and Hari Raya open house are just a few events held regularly at Bijan, and they have a team on hand to plan anything from an elaborate gathering to an intimate dinner for two. Special dietary requirements can also be arranged ahead of time.
